2021 Travelling Knit Afgan
I am so happy to announce that I will be one of the designers apart of the Purl it Forward: 2021 Travelling Knit Afgan project with Lion Brand! I recently did a post on my Instagram page about my participation, but I am hoping you guys will come along and participate as well!
Here is more information about the project and how you can be involved!
Join Lion Brand and 13 designers and bloggers as we embark on the 2021 Traveling Knit Afghan project! The Traveling Knit Afghan 2021 will carry the overarching themes of comfort, kindness, and community. The 2021 Traveling Knit Afghan is titled Purl it Forward which is derived from the concept of Pay it Forward.
Starting in January, the Traveling Knit Afghans will journey from coast to coast in the United States and into Canada. Designers from both countries will each create 20"x 20" squares which will be released each month. Follow along the blanket’s path as it travels from one designer to the next – each adding their square before sending it off to the next person.
Designers will each publish their pattern for free online so you can follow along with us and create your own knit afghan. Designers may also make available for download a clean pdf copy of their pattern for only $1.00!!
This year-long collaborative effort will feature stories from the designers about their paths as makers and members of our fiber community. Join us, learn new stitches, and make new friends by participating in the 2021 Traveling Knit Afghan Project.
Here's how you can participate:

Visit the landing page for the project, hosted by Arica from Skeinsnsticks Designs, for the master list of all designers and links to their sites as well as the itinerary for the afghans so you can have a peek at the route they will be taking as they travel around the world. www.skeinsnsticksdesigns.com
