Luke Gilligan, CEO & Head Technical Editor (Knitting)

Luke Gilligan is a knitwear designer and fiber artist otherwise known as Wool Enthusiast. As a creative, he has a dream to share the wonder, hope and love he finds in crafting by blogging and providing technical editing services to independent designers and yarn brands in the fibre industry. He specializes in garments, technical designing, and pattern grading. He has carefully curated and created innovative techniques allowing him to grade patterns to a very size-inclusive range while maintaining accurate fit and proportions. As well as editing, Luke has a passion for teaching and has taught for Vogue Knitting Live, local yarn shops, and other fibre related events.

Debra Field, Technical Editor (Crochet)

Debra Field is a lifelong crocheter and pattern consumer, with over 15 years of design and pattern writing experience and several years in the tech editing industry. She has training in tech editing and grading from Joeli Creates, is a Craft Yarn Council “Certified Crochet Instructor” and has completed and passed CGOA’s “Master of Advanced Stitches and Techniques”.

Ms. Field works with designers to create the most professional-looking, easy-to-read patterns while honoring each designer’s personal style. Knowledge of crochet industry standards, meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of pattern writing, and constant communication with the client are just some of the qualities you can expect when working with her.

Lindsay Glenn, Technical Editor (Knitting)

Lindsay Glenn is an avid knitter, quilter, crocheter, and lover of all things handmade. Her lifelong love of crafts began over thirty years with crochet, granny square afghan, after crocheting an infinitely long chain- (I think we all began crocheting that way). Then by knitting her first pair of socks- and her sock needles have never been empty since. She began working in the craft publishing industry more than ten years ago as a technical writer, editor, and illustrator. Her love of writing motivated her to complete her Masters degree in professional and technical writing. Lindsay is a thoughtful and meticulous editor whose focus on clarity, simplicity, and error-free writing is at the forefront of her work. Lindsay is easy to work with and maintains a good rapport with all her clients.
